Two very special wall panels were installed in the Catholic Church Divine Mercy Parish (Parafia Miłosierdzia Bożego) in Skawina, Poland. In order to positively influence the sound perception of the church and at the same time to commemorate the two great personalities Pope John Paul II and St. Maria Faustina Kowalski, two large-format acoustic wall panels were installed in the altar area.

The panels, which initially look like two ordinary works of art, are covered with sound-absorbing AKUSTICO® from PONGS®. This textile noticeably improves the surround sound and creates a pleasant, calm atmosphere with little reverberation. In total, almost 11 m2 of AKUSTICO® were covered on the wall panels with the acoustic properties. A great project that will hopefully give the parish in Skawina both acoustic and visual pleasure for a long time.
