NEULAND I Mysterium Event
Spectacular music, dance and light performance at Kraftwerk Berlin. Projection screens and textile frames for the impressive stages have been manufactured from broad woven fabrics from PONGS®.
Are you up for the unknown?
By invitation only … Guests gathered at Kraftwerk Berlin last December to attend a spectacular event. The former heat and power station in Berlin Mitte is far more than just a part of industrial history: the location emanates a physically tangible presence. A place of raw beauty, perfect for exhibitions and events.
In order to stage NEULAND, a production incorporating music, dance and light headed by the icelandic artists GusGus, a textile frame was created around several freely positioned platforms in an open space: to mark out, to create projection screens and to provide a space for vertical acrobatics on a rope.
For the project, a cooperation with our partner Balloni Berlin // www.ballooni.de, we especially worked up white nettle made from Tevira CS, stage molton and cotton grid.
