The swimming pool of the inter-municipal school center in the Swiss town of Crans-Montana was extensively renovated in 2017. The extensive work included pool lining, pool surrounds and the inside walls of the swimming pool. The renovation project was tendered locally: Christian Michellod from the architecture firm Graphos Sàrl in Lens was entrusted with the project management. He commissioned Millius Carrelage Sàrl from Icogne to do the laying work. This in turn turned to MAPEI for the technical questions. The renovation work involved a total of 3,000 working hours over 40 working days.
Among other things, a textile stretch ceiling with a cloud print was installed. DESCOR® PREMIUM Acoustic by PONGS® was individually digitally printed for this purpose and not only impresses with its seamless, smooth appearance, but also with smart, sound-absorbing properties. The spatial sound in the large swimming pool is effectively optimized and reverberation is reduced. A treat for the eyes and ears.
Everyone involved is very satisfied with the project completion, because thanks to the all-round service, the best possible result was achieved with technical solutions and comprehensive advice.
